Alex Ovechkin has maintained its annual tradition of attending the Redskins home opening game on Sunday.
Ovechkin attended the match with his Russian compatriot and capital Dmitry Orlov, as well as his wife, Nastya. The group was sitting in luxury seats.

Abe Hamrah from Designo Motoring sat next to Ovechkin and asked him what he thought.
"Come on, Redskins," Ovi shouted before raising his fist.
NBC Sports Washington met the Russian duo during the match and quickly took a quick picture of Ovechkin and Orlov. Ovi was wearing Nike's stunning Nike Last Last Shot shirt from Michael Jordan.

Ovi also took the time to take a picture with Jordan Stuart of Next Move – who is the real estate advisor to Capitals head coach Todd Reirden – and his son.

As in the last two home opening games with Ovechkin, the Redskins have fallen to their opponent, the Dallas Cowboys, 31-21.
