Sunday morning's battle between the Washington Capitals and the New York Rangers was a frenzied and goal-packed affair. Brady Skjei's goal at the last minute on six goals against five forced the game to overtime, which was as wild as regulation.

The Capitals dominated the four-four overtime, even before the winner of the match. Carl Hagelin's wrist shot almost ended the game ninety seconds earlier. But when Todd Reirden took the Russian troika of Ovechkin, Kuznetsov and Dmitry Orlov, the Caps harassed Henrik Lundqvist's net for 30 good seconds, shooting three times in goal.
The winner was the classic Ovi-Kuzy chaos. Ovechkin simulates a slapshot monster from the slot. Instead of shooting, he passes to Evgeny Kuznetsov, at the bottom of the goal line. Al Koken of NBC Sports asked Evgeny Kuznetsov if it was him or Ovechkin who scored. "It does not matter," Kuznetsov said. "As long as we get two points, we have everything we need.
"That's what will happen when three Russians are on the ice, you know?" Kuznetsov said. "I think we share the puck pretty well. Once you dropped that late goal, you worked hard to get it back because it was our game and we almost lost that extra point. "
