After participating in a full practice yesterday, Captain Alex Ovechkin takes a day of talk and did not participate in the practice.
Ovechkin takes advantage of the day to treat an upper body injury and, in his absence, Travis Boyd filled the upper slot of the left wing. Boyd also completed Ovechkin's position on the first power play, which is a likely indication that Ovi will play tomorrow.
So Capitals today to practice without Ovechkin (upper body maintenance)

In addition to good news, both Michal Kempny and Devante Smith-Pelly, who took maintenance days yesterday for his own injuries, both fully participated in the practice and should play tomorrow against the New Jersey Devils.
Kempny asked if he would play tomorrow after missing the training yesterday (upper body interview) and he replied "of course".
Same question for DSP (lower body interview yesterday) and he replied "I think so."

Evgeny Kuznetsov is also back in a normal training jersey after wearing a contactless jersey during the training session of yesterday He centered a line with Jakub Vrana and Brett Connollybut we do not know if he will be ready for tomorrow's match.
Reirden expects Ovechkin, Smith-Pelly and Kempny to play tomorrow.
Kuznetsov, who has not yet been whitened, but as I tweeted earlier, he seemed to be pretty in training today.

In the worst news, TJ Oshie has not taken the ice since his concussion.
Good luck Evgeny Kuznetsov will be back in the Capitals against Devils tomorrow night.
T.J. Oshie is still not skating.
