Alex Rodriguez has confirmed that he is currently in a relationship following several reports that he has separated from his fiancee Jennifer Lopez.
The 45-year-old former MLB star was first spotted heading to his gym in Florida after he and Lopez confirmed they were “working on some things” in a statement dispelling rumors that they had called off their engagement and separated for good.
On Saturday, a TMZ photographer asked Rodriguez if he was single as he entered the resort, to which the former New York Yankee unequivocally replied in the negative.
“I’m not [single], no, ”he told the photographer, laughing.

As he was leaving the gym, photographers caught him receiving a phone call from Lopez in which he told her he would call her back in an instant. During the brief call, he called the singer and actress a “baby.”

Rodriguez and the “On the Floor” singer, 51, released a joint statement on Saturday saying the information about the end of their relationship was “inaccurate.”
“All reports are inaccurate. We are working on some things,” the pair’s joint statement read.
A source further told Fox News that while reports of their breakup are premature, the two have recently been in trouble.
“Nothing was concrete. They have hit a rough patch but are working on it,” the source said.
Much of the speculation stems from a report in Page Six that highlighted a previous rumor that arose earlier this year about Rodriguez and “Southern Charm” star Madison LeCroy. However, a source told Fox News that a third “did not contribute” to the couple’s recent turmoil.
However, neither Rodriguez nor Lopez have yet addressed their issues.
“Jennifer and Alex have much more important things – like companies and their [respective] children – to be worried about, ”the source said.
During a special reunion for the show in January, Bravo host Andy Cohen revealed that LeCroy allegedly had a relationship with “a very famous and married former MLB player.”

Fans noticed that Rodriguez liked his Instagram photos, which suggested he was the athlete in question – despite being only engaged, not married.
Meanwhile, Lopez recently revealed that she and Rodriguez had seen a therapist.
“It was really great. We had to work on ourselves,” she told Allure. “We did therapy. I think it was really helpful in our relationship.”

However, despite the therapy, a source told People the duo have been “on the rocks for almost three months now.”

“They tried to keep this together for the kids, but everyone knew it wasn’t going to work,” the insider told the outlet. “They were going to buy a mega-mansion together and that didn’t happen, once they gave up on the deal, all of their friends here [in Miami] knew.”
The last official public event Lopez and Rodriguez attended together appears to be President Joe Biden’s inauguration, where Lopez performed.

The “Hustlers” star performed a mashup of Woody Guthrie’s beloved popular song, “This Land Is Your Land”, the patriotic anthem “America the Beautiful” and his own hit, “Let’s Get Loud”.
The two started dating in February 2017 before becoming engaged in March 2019. Lopez shares 13-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony. Rodriguez co-parents daughters Ella, 12, and Natasha, 16, with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis.
