Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., Ransacked the court system while actress Felicity Huffman could be sentenced to a lighter prison sentence for her role in the college corruption scam.
Huffman, 56, agreed earlier this month that she would plead guilty to a charge of conspiracy and fraud for paying $ 15,000 to a consultant disguised as a charitable donation to improve his daughter's SAT score.
Ocasio-Cortez reacted to a tweet that said that although the sentencing directive is four to ten months in jail, prosecutors "will make a recommendation for the bottom of this range and allow Huffman to plead for a range of 0 to 6 months.

The new congressman said that the US justice system "criminalizes poverty" disproportionately targets race, while systematically forgiving large-scale crimes of wealth and privilege. "
"Moments like these tell us it's less of a judicial system than a classroom law enforcement system," she tweeted.
This is not the first time that Ocasio-Cortez comments on the admissions scandal in the universities. In March, Ocasio-Cortez compared the scandal to political elections.

Full House star Lori Loughlin and her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, are also accused of corruption. Huffman must enter his guilty plea on May 24th.
