Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) Raised her profile as a first-year lawmaker with remarkable speed, but she attributes some of this to Fox News.
In a tweet on Saturday, the congressman mocked this newspaper by calling it "AOC TMZ," noting that its relentless coverage put it for "the reason people know more."
Ocasio-Cortez also thanked New York journalist Jane Mayer, who reported on the network earlier this month, revealing her intimate relationship with President Donald Trump's White House.
The reason people know more is because Fox News has turned into "AOC TMZ" (no offense for TMZ), so the popularity is growing with the GOPers.@JaneMayerNYer has made a thorough report on this propaganda machine + it will be directed against any Dem they want. Nothing changes that.
Ocasio-Cortez's comments responded to the tweet of writer Josh Jordan sharing a Gallup poll that he said was "under water with all demographic groups", with the exception women, minorities and young voters.

Jordan, who lined up in right-wing media like the National Review and RealClearPolitics, was quickly reprimanded by the congressman for what she saw as an implication that "older, conservative white men are considered "everyone".
If you want to know what a subconscious prejudice looks like, you can read in the title: "The AOC is submerged by all groups, EXCEPT women, non-whites and 18-34 year olds".
Thus, older conservative white men are considered "everyone" and all others are considered exceptions.
With regard to the fixation of Ocasio-Cortez by Fox News, the legislator is not wrong.
In February, a report by Media Matters for America indicated that the network had mentioned its name more than four times more than the Senate majority leader, Mitch McConnell (R-K.Y.).
In addition, during evening shows in peak viewing time, approximately 20 to 35 minutes were spent on Ocasio-Cortez on average per program. It's almost half of the three hour period starting at 8pm. at 11 pm
