All Galaxy S10 and S10 + phones have at least 8GB of RAM

There are a lot of phones with the Galaxy S10 name right now, four, to be precise. However, between the different storage configurations of all S10 models, we found a lot of confusion online about how much RAM would be available for each level of S10 and S10 + storage. We contacted Samsung to find out exactly what was happening.

The amount of misinformation we find is almost shocking, mainly due to inaccurate information on the Samsung website. Many people who pre-ordered S10 panics about their orders with 6GB of RAM while they had bought their phone at 8GB. We even saw bait and surrogate charges against Samsung on Reddit.

Looking at the Specifications tab on the product pages of different S10 models, it's not surprising that many scratching their heads. For example, Samsung lists 6GB of RAM for the Galaxy S10's 128GB and 512GB models. For the S10 +, the site shows 6GB of RAM for the 128GB operator models, but 8GB for the 128GB unlocked model. All 512GB S10 + variants are illustrated with 8GB of RAM, which is actually correct. Finally, the operator's S10 + 1TB models are presented with 12GB of RAM, but the unlocked S10 + 1TB would only have 8GB. None of this makes any sense whatsoever. .

If you thought that the website's specifications were wrong, it turns out that some phones display incorrect amounts in RAM. Curly_umbrella displays a photo of S10 in the "Memory" tab of 6GB of RAM, as well as an AT & T store manager who sent us an email. We are stunned by the way phones could display bad amounts of RAM, but the photographic evidence is provided above.

So here's what you need to know: All Galaxy S10 and S10 + phones have at least 8GB of RAM, regardless of the carrier or unlocked model you receive. The Samsung website has almost everything wrong, but a Samsung representative informed us that it will be fixed. That said, we still do not know why some display models use 6 GB of RAM. The only S10 / S10 + model that does not have 8 GB of RAM is the 1 TB S10 + model, which has 12 GB of RAM (again, regardless of the support / unlock model).

Now that everything is set, order your S10 or S10 + without worrying about getting one with only 6GB of RAM in the mail.
