All release dates you need to know

So another E3 came and gone, leaving behind a confusion of cinematic trailers and vague premonitions of future downloadable content. But beyond the big unrevealed console and games with game brackets instead of dates, we have a plethora of games with actual release dates. Here's everything you need to know in order to plan your days off accordingly.

(Note: I do not include anything that goes into early access on a given day – it looks like cheating. In addition, I did not include the games for which we already know the release date … noise – I do not run a charity here.)

Outside now

Some games revealed during the show are playable immediately now that the show is over. It's always nice when the presenters do that: it's like a small reward to have seen so many hums. There was not much of that at E3 this year, but you can play a few games now: The last remastered remnant launched on Switch at the end of the Nintendo show, as well as the Mana Collection – a collection of games including Mana trials, which has never been published before in the West. Also, Cadence of Hyrule, the cross between The legend of Zelda and Crypt of the necrodancer, will be available by the end of the week.

If you are interested in mobile games, the surreal Mosaic, revealed at PC Gaming, is free on App and Play Stores. In addition, Devolver Digital unveiled its Bootleg collection, a series of games that obviously tear apart some of their most famous titles – which seems like a devolving thing to Devolver. It is currently available on Steam. at a whopping 1 percent discount.

Later this year

Even if we do not get them at oncewe will have quite a few games in the second half of 2019. The month of September in particular seems to have been planted: the biggest release of the month is undoubtedly Gears of War 5, which comes out on the 10th. Other than that, we have the adorable Conan Chop Chop (3 September), Daemon X Machina for the Switch (September 13), the remake of Link's Awakening (September 20) and the surprise recovery of Contra series, Thieves' bodies (September 24).

An intriguing game based on the Blair Witch movies is scheduled for August 30, and I hope that he can teach all these Slenders and outlasts how it was done (considering the material on which they slipped the concept initially). Also on August 22, the creators of I am Setsuna and Sphear lost publish their latest action-RPG, Oninaki. We also discovered the Wolfenstein VR game, Cyberpilot, will be released on July 26 next to the last entry of the series, Youngblood.

As for the end of the year, it has only three major entries (next to all the others that have only a vague slice of "this year"), but they are doozies. For starters, the latest Obsidian game The outer worlds – which looks like the game that the company wanted to do for several years – was released on October 25, 2019. It hits the Microsoft Store in addition to the Epic Games Store, so if you do not want to buy from the latter, you will not do it need of. The second major version is the deeply metallic Doom: Eternal November 22nd and … yes, please. And finally, Just Dance 2020 arrives on November 5 on many platforms, including the Wii, for whatever reason.

The new Year

Most games revealed for 2020 have been placed in vague brackets, so many games are expected to arrive in 2020 at vague times. But we had some solid release dates.

The first of the year is Ori and the will of the wisps, a sequel to Ori and the blind forest, which comes out on February 11th. It looks more like the same, but I loved Ori 1 in pieces, so I'm not angry. Soon after comes the mysterious Gods & Monsters, a Zelda style game based on the stylized Greek mythology Ubisoft revealed during his lecture. It's supposed to come out on February 25th. So I wonder why the company has not published more information about this before.

March is another month that has bottled. March 3, the first episode of the long-awaited Remake of Final Fantasy VII drops, while the epic Legion watchdogs Strikes March 6th. This is going to be a occupied the week. You'd better finish them both before March 20 because Passage of animals: new horizons then falls, and once you start a AC play is fundamentally "goodbye, life as you know it".

Nevertheless, if you can draw your head long enough from the sand, you can play Keanu Reeves Cyberpunk 2077 is finally to be released April 16 – Does anyone else remember that the original teaser was released in 2013? It's long to wait for anything, so the game should be at the height of all this hype. In addition, if you have room on your credit card and your schedule, Marvel's Avengers drops on May 15th.

That's about all that had a release date. By next year!
