The Major League Baseball played in the 2019 all-star game on Tuesday at Cleveland's Progressive course. The American League beat the National League by a score of 4-3, extending its winning streak in the mid-summer Classic to seven in a row. The AL also won 11 of the 14 victories of 2003, the year following the infamous encounter.

The American League quickly took the lead when Alex Bregman scored a brace Michael Brantley in the second run. The game stayed 1-0 until fifth, when Jorge Polanco tackled Gary Sanchez on a mere infield, making it 2-0.

From there, the offense started to go off. Charlie Blackmon agreed to put the BN on the scoreboard in sixth place, then the AL hit for a pair of points in the seventh. First, Xander Bogaerts signed a double game that scored Matt Chapman. Later, Joey Gallo dominated on the first pitch seen by reliever Will Smith.

Pete Alonso has chosen to score with the goals loaded in the eighth goal, but the LN has not been able to pass through the goals either draws or led.
