The Gamescom 2019 is officially launched and brings a ton of exciting news and announcements to game fans. Not only did we review a number of new and upcoming titles during the Gamescom: Opening Night Live presentation, but some of the biggest publishers in the industry also showed their own live shows before the show, including Nintendo.
Just before the start of Gamescom, Nintendo released an indie world-centric "Indie World" presentation, highlighting a range of unique and catchy upcoming titles on Nintendo Switch (and other platforms). in the next few months. In total, the company has presented two dozen independent games en route to its hybrid system this year and early 2020, expected suites such as Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince and Risk of Rain 2 to great classic-style adventures like Eastward and the movie. This is not all that Nintendo had to show during Gamescom, however. The company also shared more than 30 minutes of Link's Awakening's The Legend of Zelda sequence, which gives us a detailed overview of Zelda's highly anticipated remake. The Game Freak developer has also shared a new clip of Pokemon Sword and Shield, offering visitors a tour of one of the charming cities that they will visit during the upcoming Switch games.
