Kevin Hart "lives a hell" while the details of his injuries are revealed after the devastating car accident.
The 40-year-old actor and comedian fractured his spine in three places after the car in which he was traveling left the Mulholland Highway in Malibu.
The 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, which was Hart's birthday gift for himself in July, was totally destroyed in the crash that injured his friend Jared Black.
Black's fiancée, Rebecca Broxterman, who was in the back, managed to get out of the wreckage after being slightly injured.
Hart was operated on in Los Angeles Sunday night, which allowed the fractures to be fused. TMZ reported that there were two in the thoracic portion of the spine and one in the lumbar region.

The operation was hailed as a success, but sources told TMZ that Hart was "going through hell" and would remain heavily medicated for a while.
