The Mortal Kombat franchise has pushed the limits of the day with its brutal Fatality finals. To mark the winner of a fight, the players have been able to perform bloody finishing strikes that have caused hiccups among viewers since 1992.

The fatalities of Mortal Kombat 11 are larger, more extravagant and more generous than ever, and each of them is meticulously planned to create a fluid cinematic experience. However, things look very different when you remove dynamic camera angles, zoom out and make the point still.

Using a camera mod, DennisNetwork was able to provide us with another look at each fatality of Mortal Kombat 11.

The most important finalists and covering large areas of the scene are the most interesting, like Fatality who sees Kabal hang his opponent and cross portals with him. We see a very small angle for this one, and we give a glimpse of all the terrain covered by the classic fighter.

This camera mod also gives insight into how each Fatality has been animated, with various light effects coming into play at different times and some aspects becoming the focal point at different times in the cutscene.

Of course, something like this can not come without a lot of little bugs and quirks. You will see backgrounds and characters partially disappear, sometimes stiff movements and a bit of stuttering. Anyway, the whole gives an interesting and unique insight into some of the most beautiful fatalities ever made.
