With the entire trilogy now streaming on Netflix, Wax records announced today that the soundtracks of the three Fear street the films come out on vinyl.

Coolest of all, the art of each film pays homage to the classic illustrations found on the covers of RL Stineoriginal books, which Leigh janiakThe movies are of course based on.

Available for pre-order now, the deluxe triple LP features the music for the sheet music composed for the three installments of the Netflix horror film trilogy based on RL Stine’s best-selling horror series. The first score presented on this version, Street of Fear Part 1: 1994, begins this vast album with songs composed by MARCO BELTRAMI and MARCUS TRUMPP.

Also shown are scores for Street of Fear Part 2: 1978 by Beltrami and Brandon roberts and Street of Fear Part 3: 1666 by Beltrami, Anna drubich and Trumpp. Features include 180 gram colored vinyl, liner notes of Fear street director and screenwriter Leigh janiak, and new illustrations by Sam gilbey which pays homage to the classic of the 90s Fear street book covers.

“The great thing about the Fear street trilogy is that all movies take place at different time frames, and Leigh really encouraged me to look into that aspect, ”the composer said. MARCO BELTRAMI, who worked on all three parts of the film trilogy. “The first part of the film, 1994, was strongly inspired by the Scream Wes Craven’s trilogy of films, so I was able to revisit the scores that gave me my beginnings in this profession. In the second film, 1978, we were able to channel Jerry Goldsmith’s iconic scores and his use of woodwinds and percussion in the orchestra. It was a great opportunity to flex that muscle without using a synthesizer. The third film, 1666, is, ironically, perhaps the most modern score of the group. It is an ensemble stripped of a nonet of strings, percussions, choir and electronics. All in all, throughout the past year Marcus, Brandon, Anna and I have written over four hours of music, all inspired by our incredibly talented director Leigh Janiak! We hope you enjoy it. ”

You can grab the set of three soundtracks through Waxwork Records for $ 50!
