A problem with the landing gear of an Allegiant Air plane resulted in a difficult landing at Boston’s Logan Airport on Sunday, airport officials said.

Allegiant Air Flight 2601 from Knoxville, Tennessee to Boston, Massachusetts sustained a flat tire while landing at Boston Logan International Airport.

Officials said no one was injured and the incident did not have a serious impact on airport operations.

Authorities said the 154 passengers and six crew on board the plane had been disembarked from the flight via overhead stairs and transported to the terminal by bus since the plane was out of service at the aerodrome.

Witnesses reported seeing passengers escorted out of the plane by emergency crews.

The airline said it refunded the price of the tickets for the passengers and gave them $ 100 vouchers to use for future travel.
