Representative Justin Amash, R-Mich, met Tuesday with a MAGA voter wearing a hat during a public vote for his support for the removal of President Trump.
Amash has made headlines in recent weeks for his long Twitter threads exposing his argument for an impeachment based on the Mueller report. His latest tweet targeted Attorney General William Barr for allegedly misleading the public about the findings of the special advocate Robert Mueller and invoked a "false narrative" that the Trump campaign had been badly spied at the time. election of 2016.
In Grand Rapids, Michigan, Amash was confronted by a Trump supporter wearing the iconic "Make America Great Again" hat.
She began by telling Amash that she was a "supporter" of her son since his first congressional election in 2010 but was now "disappointed" by his support for the dismissal.
"You talk about the Constitution and its importance, but nothing that was said by Mueller in this report, nothing that has been said about it and President Trump is constitutional and has been a tactic of defamation because that's how the Democrats work, "the Trump supporter told Amash. "How can you become a democrat while we voted for you as a Republican because you just drank the same Kool-Aid as all Democrats?"

Amash responded by defending his record in front of Congress, telling city hall attendees that he was "one of the most constitutionally and fiscally conservative voted" of "all the legislators in place and that he was at the top of" almost all the scorecards "conservative groups.
"I have not changed, I am what I said I am a constitutional conservative based on principles that remains consistent, whether or not we have President Obama in office or President Trump," Mr. Amash continued. We have heard your comments on the Mueller report, but you have not stated any facts. What are the facts you are challenging? "
Amash too responded to another participant who accused him of failing to deal with the "FISA abuses" that are currently the subject of an investigation by referring to his FISA Reform Law which has been rejected by Trump White House.
