Amazing BOTW Trickshot Video Is Essentially Zelda’s Olympics

What’s the safest way to make something cool cooler? Easy: Set it to some really epic music. The eight-minute video kicks off with some edited highlights from BotWcutscenes (protect the princess! Evil Ganon!) before getting into it. And let me tell you, when he walks in, it fits in. See for yourself:

Duplex Link, which is conscientiously published BotW trickshot videos for years, worked on editing for about four months. Last year the YouTuber posted a tutorial video illustrating how to get into the mesosphere from just about anywhere. Throughout the montage, you can see similar cheats, in which Link blasts enemies from above with relentless barrages of different types of arrows. Duplex Link clearly likes to take off.

But beyond that, much of the film is beyond easy comprehension. Think of it as an Olympic sport, for example rock climbing, skateboarding or gymnastics.

Without a doubt, you are witnessing a tremendous display of skill – probably, let’s face it, beyond what you can do – but you understand the fundamental mechanics of what is going on.
