The events will take place in Arlington, Virginia; Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Nashville and Seattle.

Jobs range from software engineers, who can earn over $ 100,000 a year, to warehouse workers paid at least $ 15 per hour to pack and ship orders online.

The company stated that these positions were full-time and were not related to the usual seasonal hiring for the next vacation.

By the end of 2018, Amazon employed approximately 650,000 workers.
