Amazon announces Florida deliveries will be delayed by Hurricane Dorian

Although we do not yet know what impact the storm will have on our local teams, the safety of our employees and drivers is still our top priority. We have begun to proactively shut down operating facilities in potentially affected areas. We will pay 100% of the normal time of Amazon employees if their facility closes temporarily and if they are willing to provide support to them, as well as to their family, so that they can recover from this storm.

Customers living in hurricane-affected areas may see a delayed delivery promise date on items when they go to checkout. In limited circumstances, customers located outside the affected area may also see a slower delivery promise if the product they order is shipped from an area within the expected hurricane path.
