Amazon on Monday released the first job offers of its new Arlington County headquarters and announced the transfer of two vice presidents from Seattle to oversee the development of the workforce. and the international growth of her virtual assistant Alexa.

"Although they are small, these employees will help lay the foundation for our workforce and our workplace," said Ardine Williams, vice president of workforce development, in a blog post.
Williams and Rob Pulciani, vice president of Alexa, are the two leaders who will move to the Arlington office. A transfer that provides the first information on the types of operations that will be based there.

"The strong support of state and local governments has allowed us to make significant progress in establishing our presence here," Williams said. "We are ahead of the pace and pace to create 400 new jobs this year and a total of 25,000 over the next 10 years or more."
