Amazon First day officially starts on July 15th – but we are already spotting the first offers. In recent days, we've seen reductions on everything from the latest AirPods (with the wireless charging case) at Own devices of Amazon including Kindle and eReaders, multimedia streamers, doorbells and security cameras and a range of Echo smart speakers.

This Strix laptop is equipped with a 15.6-inch FHD display, an eighth-generation Intel Core i7 processor and GTX 1050 Ti graphics, 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and a 128GB SSD drive over a 1TB FireCuda SSD drive. It's a considerably more powerful configuration than the one we tested last year – and we liked it a lot. It's a good deal for a robust component collection.
Alienware m17 for $ 1800 (save $ 200)

This is a good price for the not-very-high-end m17, configured with an eighth-generation Intel Core i7-8750H six-core processor and a Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Max Q graphics chip. Battery life is not great, but the m17 has a rock-solid strength and makes fewer design sacrifices compared to a relatively rugged laptop.
128GB Apple iPad: $ 329 (save $ 100)

Reminder: Apple's 2018 iPad is still great for basic tasks such as watching videos, browsing the web, browsing Instagram and playing games. Amazon currently offers the 32GB model at $ 249, or $ 80 on the price. But if you want an even better offer, the 128GB version costs $ 329, a savings of $ 100.
