July 12 (Reuters) – Amazon.com Inc (AMZN.O) said its online stores returned to normal services after a global outage disrupted shopping at its national sites.

According to the Downdetector outage monitoring website, services were down for almost two hours and at the height of the disruption, more than 38,000 user reports indicated problems with Amazon’s online stores.
