Amazon will be rolling out the video calling feature in the coming weeks in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and Spain. Two-way audio calling is available on all Fire TV Cube models today.
Fire TV Cube can also alert you when someone rings your doorbell. You will be able to view a video stream from a connected Ring device on your TV by asking Alexa to do so.
Plus, you’ll be able to ask Alexa general questions, like weather information, without interrupting what you’re watching. Alexa will respond to you in a pop-up window if you are playing a video in full screen or in the background of the device’s navigation screen. This will work on all Fire TV devices except the Fire TV Stick and the first generation Fire TV.
