Move over Mother of Dragons, we have entered the era of the Dragon Reborn. As part of San Diego Comic-Con @ Home, Amazon Studios released a new poster for The wheel of time, what stars Rosamund Pike like a mighty wizard training the person who could bring salvation, or destruction, to their world.

During the panel, showrunner Rafe Judkins explained what fans can expect from The wheel of time, which is set to debut in November. He shared how he was a fan of Wheel of time since he was a kid. He read the series with his mother and said that it helped him and his mother identify with each other, especially after he became gay, noting that “we could connect on this book and women who were inside who had to be themselves in this world which was very different. According to Judkins, another person who really understands this story is Pike, who was the first actor on the show and also serves as a producer. Judkins shared the memory of speaking with Pike about the role of Moiraine and instantly knowing that it couldn’t be anyone else.

“The first time I called Rosamund, I could just tell the way she was talking about Moiraine’s character that when she read that first script, it just struck her that she understood this woman. when I spoke to her, I knew she was the only option for this character, because she understood Moiraine a bit in her bones, in a really fundamental way. That’s the foundation of this whole series, and all of this. series that works is you believe the characters that are there. And Rosamund is the best base this show could hope for. “

Judkins noted that he sees The wheel of time as “connective tissue between the Lord of the Rings and The iron Throne”, But that history and the world are sufficient in themselves. As long as how long can we expect the upcoming series, Judkins noted that he described “what the eight seasons of the series could look like” before writing the pilot episode. That doesn’t mean we’re going to have eight seasons of The wheel of time, but it is good to know that we will not encounter any The iron Throne content wall. There’s no trailer yet, unfortunately, but Amazon Studios and the showrunner have unveiled a poster that reveals the series will debut in November. Here is a preview of the poster.
