RIVERDALE, Ill. (WLS) – A double murder and child abduction led to an Amber Alert Friday afternoon.

The child is safe, but the police are now looking for the suspect.

Family members identified the victims as siblings Damien and Jessica Beal, and said the siblings were gunned down at a house in South Tracy’s 14000 block in Riverdale.

“She had a whole son. He lost a mother and her uncle in the same day,” said the cousin of the victims, Tina Williams.

After hearing the terrible news of their deaths, the family also found out that Jessica was pregnant with her second child.

After their bodies were discovered, an Amber Alert was issued for Jessica’s one-year-old son. The alert was quickly canceled after Illinois State Police said the boy was dropped off at the police station.

The suspect, Clarence Hebron, 32, is still at large.

Members of the Beal family said Hebron was the boy’s father and Jessica’s boyfriend.

“I really hope they catch it,” said Ruby Bolden, another cousin of the victims.

Riverdale Police have not released any information on the circumstances leading to the killings, but the family is awaiting answers.

“Anyone who knew Jessica loved Jessica. She was the life of the party,” said Ebony Williams.

“Damien was a beautiful person. He was like a person you call him [and] he was there, “Bolden added.” And being the oldest cousin and I had six children – he was always at my house with my boys. ”
