A Tennessee teenager who has been missing for a year and a half is currently in Florida with her father, authorities said this week.
Daphne Westbrook, 17, was last seen on a weekend getaway in Chattanooga, Tennessee in October 2019 with her non-custodial father, John Westbrook, 42.
John Westbrook was charged with interfering with detention in June last year, and a judge charged him with aggravated kidnapping last month.

John Westbrook has known contacts in Colorado, New Mexico, California and Washington, but he was recently seen with his daughter in a 1971 orange Volkswagen Beetle in the Florida panhandle, according to FOX 13.

Pinkston told WRCB that Daphne “is constantly receiving drugs and alcohol which keep her in an altered state”.
