A Tennessee teenager who has been missing for a year and a half is currently in Florida with her father, authorities said this week.
Daphne Westbrook, 17, was last seen on a weekend getaway in Chattanooga, Tennessee in October 2019 with her non-custodial father, John Westbrook, 42.
John Westbrook was charged with interfering with detention in June last year, and a judge charged him with aggravated kidnapping last month.

John Westbrook is a computer expert who makes money doing computer security work for small businesses, according to Hamilton County District Attorney Neil Pinkston.

Pinkston told WRCB that Daphne “is constantly receiving drugs and alcohol which keep her in an altered state”.
