Ryan Murphy’s spinoff anthology series trailer, American Horror Stories, dates back to the beginning, to the twisted but beloved Murder House of the first season of american horror story.

We see a new group of unlucky souls take on the deeply insane and spirit-filled house, with the familiar but faceless. The rubber man appearing once more to distribute more torture. The trailer gives viewers a taste of all the horrific stories to come, like a possessive movie, a murderous santa claus (played by the only and only Danny Trejo), and a pig-headed shower slasher. Amy Grabow Appears like the Tipper Gore advocating for explicit music labels during the Parents Music Resource Center hearing from 1985. Plus a lot of sessions, ghosts, monsters and demons.

Yesterday Murphy announced AHS alums Matt Bomer, Billie Lourd, Naomi Grossman, and John Carroll Lynch, will come back for American Horror Stories. The full cast includes Aaron Tveit, Paris Jackson, Madison Bailey, Virginia Garndner, Belissa Escobedo, Rhenzy Feliz, Gavin Creel, Kaia Gerber, Sierra McCormick, and more. Murphy revealed on Twitter that the cast named so far “is not even half of it”. Brad Falchuk, Alexis Martin Woodall, John J. Gray and Manny Coto join Murphy as executive producers.

During weekly 16 hour episodes, American Horror Stories will unleash a new hell, from the mystical to the political. Nightmares begin July 15 on FX on Hulu, with American Horror Story: Double functionality premiered on August 25 on FX . In the middle of all AHS news this week, the name of the first episode of Dual functionality has been shared: “Cape of Fear.” The title come back to the classic 1962 psychological thriller, as well as the 1991 Martin Scorsese redo with AHS pillar Jessica Lange.
