"American Idol" Top 6: Did the judges save the candidate on May 5th?

[ad_1]

The episode of "American Idol" on Sunday, May 5 highlighted the Top 6. Each of these semifinalists sang two songs: one in the summer of 1969 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Woodstock Music Festival and another chosen as a source of inspiration by Grammy winning Christian singer Lauren Daigle, who started it in the series.

While the show was seen live from coast to coast, America voted for its favorites in real time. The results were revealed by the host Ryan Seacrest at the end of the two-hour episode. The first four winners – Alejandro Aranda, Wade Cota, Hardy wool and Madison VanDenburg – entered the competition to be crowned winner of season 17.

The last two – Laci Kaye Booth and Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon – had to be eliminated unless the judges choose to use their only backup of the season. After a few moments of nerves, Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie chose to throw a life buoy to Laci. Do you think it was the right decision or was Jeremiah deprived of a place in the Top 5?

Have a look at the list of songs that everyone has sung during the competition and vote for who should have been to the Top 5 on May 12th.
