Former co-star Frank Fritz reacted to an earlier statement by co-star Mike Wolfe about Fritz’s exit from the reality TV series, slamming it and saying he was fed up with the lies from the past. Fritz has not appeared in the new season, and while it has not been confirmed that he has been officially “fired,” his future status remains murky at best.
At the end of July, when news first broke about Fritz no longer appearing on the show, Wolfe posted on Instagram about Fritz. He said he would “miss” him and “pray for the best and all the good things for him on the next part of his trip.

“I’ve known Frank for as long as I can remember, he’s been like a brother to me. The journey that Frank, Dani (Danielle) and I began in 2009, like all of life, has seen its ups and downs, blessings and challenges, but it has also been the most rewarding. I will miss Frank, as will all of you, and pray for the best and all good things for him in the next part of his journey.
Fritz has now gone nuclear about it.
“Mike’s statement was bulls — t, someone wrote it for him,” Fritz told The Sun this week.
“We were never friends in elementary school,” said the 55-year-old. “I don’t think he’s told me five beautiful things in 10 years, you know? Unless he cuts someone else off and we both laugh.
Frank continued, “Mike hasn’t called me himself, ever, like I said – we haven’t spoken for two years. This is 100% truth and I don’t like people who lie to people. I’m not a liar just because my brain can’t remember whether I lied or not. I don’t lie to people, even if it hurts. If this hurts you, I’m sorry. If you don’t love me anymore, that’s your problem.
“And if he doesn’t like it, then maybe he should have called me f ******.” Maybe he should have called and said ‘Hey, how’s your back?’ “
Fritz admitted that he also entered rehab after his back surgery. He added that the show was vague as to whether he had a chance to return.
Fritz has been the co-host of the show since its debut in January 2010, the last episode of Fritz on the traveling antiques show aired in March 2020, but he did not return when the show was released. of its production interruption imposed by the pandemic.
“I didn’t quit the show,” he told the tabloid. “I finished filming, then I had a little back surgery and the pandemic happened.”
