Sources close to production tell TMZ… Frank retired from the show some time ago to deal with health issues that necessitated back surgery. This, in addition to already treating Crohn’s disease. Frank has not appeared on the show since a March 2020 episode.
When Frank walked away, we were told the show had to go on. They continued to film with just Mike at the helm.
Frank has been a staple on the show since 2010, but recently said he hadn’t spoken to Mike in 2 years… and his former co-host didn’t reach out after the surgery. Frank has since lost almost 70 pounds exercising in an effort to gain better control over his Crohn’s battle.
It’s no secret that the former “Pickers” duo haven’t got along for years, but our sources say Frank is only absent from the show because he left for himself. take care of his health. While he recently said he’d love to be back, we’re told the producers think the show is doing well with solo Mike.
Frank speculated on Mike fishing to have his own brother, Robbie, as a co-host – he’s been on the show lately – but we’re told that’s not happening either.
The only replacement Mike has done in his life so far is with his new girlfriend … after his wife filed for divorce.
