Amy Schumer wears her ‘fanciest dress’ to get her COVID vaccine

Amy Schumer celebrated receiving her COVID-19 vaccine in style.

The actress, 39, donned her “fanciest dress” – a long-sleeved mini dress with gold sequins – for her photo shoot on Sunday, as she shared on her Instagram Stories.

It looks like the star had to modify the red carpet worthy dress by ripping a hole in the sleeve in order to get the ball in her arm. (Cold shoulder pioneer Dolly Parton would surely approve.)

Schumer’s sparkling look is actually part of a larger charitable movement; she called on others to post pictures of themselves getting vaccinated in their best outfits to support Pencils for Kids, Inc.

The actress put on an impromptu comedy show for the volunteers at her vaccination site while waiting for her dose.

Warning: explicit language

She posted a video of herself sitting in a chair and joking, “Maybe I just wanted to entertain some of the workers here… I’m sorry you’re using this time to meditate.”

“I know some people are afraid of getting the vaccine, but I don’t care what’s in there,” she continued. “I’m like, ‘Shoot it in my py.'”
