An ankle injury causes Cooper to reverse his injury report

Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper missed most of Wednesday's training due to a right ankle injury. However, the club does not seem worried about its availability for Sunday's game in New Orleans.

Cooper, who received an MRI for precautionary reasons, was disturbed by left foot problems. The Cowboys had written him on the injury report in the past two weeks and was ready to pull him off the list before Wednesday's new injury.

Up here this season, Cooper has been one of the most productive players in the NFL, tied for the lead in the championship with four touchdowns. He is the main receiver of the Cowboys with 16 catches for 238 yards.

The Cowboys certainly can no longer afford to be at a disadvantage against the receiver. Michael Gallup should miss his second straight game after undergoing surgery to remove his meniscus knee. Tavon Austin missed two games due to a concussion, but was able to resume training.
