The allegedly leaked paper, titled "Apple Software Development Resources", was created for the benefit of Apple employees and the company's engineering team. Twitter account "AppleBeta2019", which has provided in the past accurate information on beta versions of different Apple's operating systems, would have gotten what is referenced as a "newsletter" by a contractor on Tuesday.

AppleInsider has examined the document but is unable to guarantee its authenticity. As such, the following is offered for discussion purposes.

According to the source, Apple will announce this fall three new iPhones, called "iPhone 11", "iPhone 11 Pro" and "iPhone 11 Pro Max", which corresponds to the internal identifiers previously reported "N104", "D42" and "D43", respectively. Each of the new handsets will ship with iOS 13.1.0, a beta version of which was tested last week.

The text of the publication suggests the launch of the new iPhone 11 Apple on September 20, users are expected to access iOS 13 September 23. A subsequent security patch should be released in the following days, while iOS 13.1. will be available for public consumption in October.

The cited timeline is classic for Apple, which typically unveils new iPhones at an event on Tuesday, launches pre-orders on Friday, and starts deliveries and physical sales a week later. A new generation iOS version, in this case iOS 13, is passed on to owners of legacy hardware the following Monday.

Regarding Apple Watch, the document confirms the presentation of four new models at a special media event on September 10, the launch likely coinciding with an iPhone on September 20. Specifically, models A2156, A2157, A2092 and A2093 will be delivered with watchOS 6. A forecast of watchOS 6.1 is planned for October.

Two new iPad models identified as A2068 and A2198 are expected to be delivered in October, signaling a rival announcement to the iPhone next week. Otherwise, Apple could hold a separate event for the unveiling of tablets, as was the case with the third-generation iPad Pro. The paper suggests that A2068 will be marketed as an entry-level iPad, while the A2198 model number will be the successor of the iPad Pro. Both should come with iPadOS 13 pending a stable version of iPadOS 13.0.1.

It is interesting to note that the document indicates that iPadOS 13.0.1 beta compatibility will initially be limited to the next iPad Pro, as smaller models will not be able to access the software until subsequent beta releases are released.

Finally, macOS 10.15 Catalina should be released alongside iOS 13, iPadOS 13, watchOS 6 and tvOS 13 on 23 September.

Apple is expected to unveil its latest iPhone and Apple Watch hardware at a special event at Apple Park on September 10th. AppleInsider will provide full coverage of ads.
