A An arrest warrant was issued against conspiracy theorist and provocateur Jacob Wohl and his former partner, Matthew Johnson.
"In 2016, Jacob Wohl and Matthew Johnson introduced themselves as members of a company called Montgomery Assets," said the warrant request obtained by the Daily Beast. "From July 27 to August 27, 2016, Jacob Wohl and Matthew Johnson offered for sale unsecured securities in violation of the California Corporations Code 25110, which provides for a three-year limitation period and must be replaced by a term of office. 39, stop ".
Wohl, 21, has not yet been arrested and the warrant application was filed before the expiry of the limitation period set at the end of last month. The warrant was filed on August 19th.
Wohl gained notoriety for his attempts to spread rumors and plots about his political enemies and those of President Trump. He has tried to spread false accusations of sexual assault against the special advocate Robert Mueller and the mayor of South Bend, Indiana, Pete Buttigieg.
Twitter banned him earlier this year after telling a reporter that he was planning to use several fake accounts to help tilt the 2020 election.
