The US Geological Survey reports that a magnitude 4.6 earthquake rocked the Three Lakes region of Washington State.

This operation was followed minutes later by a magnitude 3.5 replica near the town of Monroe, about 48 km northeast of Seattle.

The initial earthquake was recorded at 02:51 Friday.

No immediate cases of damage or injury have been reported.
