An Ohio man was arrested on Wednesday after apparently swinging an iguana over his head and hurling the reptile at a restaurant manager, authorities said.
The situation developed when the 49-year-old man, whose identity was not revealed, entered the Perkins restaurant in Painesville, located about 30 km northeast of Cleveland, and pulled out a iguana under his shirt, announced the Painesville Police Department.

Police said they responded to a complaint for disorderly driving at 11:49 am and found the man stuck close to the restaurant. The man would have resisted his arrest before the police took him into custody.
The brilliant turquoise iguana, which officers have named "affectionately" Copper, was seized and then handed over to the Humane Society of Lake County for review, police said.
