And now, LOBO gets its own TV series

Spun KRYPTON and directly into our hearts.

You may remember, last October, that Lobo, the character of DC Comics, joined Syfy Krypton series. On the off chance that you do not look Krypton or remember this news, let me refresh your memory with the photo below, which shows Emmett J. Scanlan in Lobo costume.

Yes. We all remember it. How could we forget?

Well, according to Variety, Syfy is developing a Lobo a derivative series, likely to focus on the life, times, and misadventures of the favorite intergalactic bounty hunter of all. Curiously, it seems somewhat indeterminate whether Scanlan will take over the role of the series (NBC Universal citing Variety citing "no further detail" on the cast yet), although this seems to be a safe bet.

Also undetermined: when could we really see Syfy Lobo. The show has just entered the development phase, which means that many things could happen between now and its arrival. Maybe they will recast. Maybe they'll beautify Lobo's look. Perhaps they will engage a director who understands implicitly the clumsiness inherent in the character of Lobo. Maybe they should just give up all that and let Michael Bay do a Lobo movie, as the good God wants. For now, we can only speculate on these issues, we cross our fingers and hope that everything will be fine.

Stay tuned for further updates on Syfy 's proposal Lobo series as they roll in.
