Former WWE Superstar Andrade has claimed he gave up on a contract worth $ 3 million a year when he left the company.
Andrade spilled the beans during an interview with Lucha Libre Online (quotes translated by Carlos toro).
“I had a great contract with WWE, a great contract. Three million a year. Several million dollars a year, a lot more than a lot of guys coming from NXT. I have heard of some of these contracts. I did a lot more than these guys, ”said the former NXT champion.
As we previously reported, Andrade officially split from WWE on March 21.
Andrade – real name Manuel Oropeza – signed with WWE in 2015. On November 18, 2017 at NXT TakeOver: WarGames, he defeated Drew McIntyre to become NXT Champion.
As you may recall, Andrade’s former on-screen manager Zelina Vega was released by WWE in November of last year.
