The Atlanta rapper and half of the ever-enigmatic OutKast hip-hop duo was seen Friday at the Los Angeles International Airport.

At first, the traveler Antonia Cereijido thought she was losing her mind when she saw a man who looked like the rapper walking around his terminal playing the flute, NPR's Latino USA producer told CNN.

It turns out that this man was well André 3000.

Cereijido interviewed the rapper on his instrument, a native double flute, she said.

Cereijido took a quick photo with him, posted a tweet about their meeting, and then boarded the same flight that André 3000 was taking.

By the time Cereijido landed in New York, his tweet had been liked about 68,000 times, and it was the number one news topic on Saturday morning on Twitter.

Cereijido did not expect his tweet to become viral and feared that the rapper might think that it was an invasion of privacy, she said, so she spoke with him again after they arrived.

He recognized it right away and he was very kind about it, said Cereijido.

Let's take a closer look at the André 3000 flute, captured by traveler Fernando Tomas Lauer.
