In the advertisement published in the Indianapolis Star, Luck thanked the fans for hosting him at Indy and for helping him and his wife Nicole to "make Indiana" our house".
Luck mentioned "Hoosier Hospitality" in his message and qualified his eight years in the NFL as "the honor of his life to represent the Colts and the city of Indianapolis on the world stage. ".
"I'm proud of the Midwest, a Hoosier and a Colt," we read in conclusion.
Luck announced his retirement last Saturday night, citing his fight with a long series of injuries throughout his career.
