Andrew McCutchen of the Phillies asks for prayers after a knee injury

Philadelphia Phillies center player Andrew McCutchen injured his left knee in a loss to the San Diego Padres. He will undergo an MRI exam Tuesday.

McCutchen was injured during a first-half setback and came out of the match.

"I did not feel pop or anything," he said. "Something was uncomfortable, something that made me take my knee and go down. I've already had an ACL injury and I know what it looks like. It did not seem like that to me. "

He added later on Twitter: "Pray for me, please."

Director, Gabe Kapler, said the Phillies would meet Adam Haseley on Tuesday and that if McCutchen was not available for the Phillies, "it would sting."

McCutchen scored a goal before second-baseman Ian Kinsler dropped Jean Segura's popup. Kinsler threw the first goal to get Segura and McCutchen was taken to a dilapidated state. He was injured while he was trying to escape the medal by coming back early and had to be helped off the court.
