Android 10 could reach Pixel Phones on September 3rd

It's unclear whether third-party phones will make the leap under Android 10 as quickly, though this is unlikely. Apart from brands like Essential, you will usually have to wait weeks or months for new revisions to reach your device. Beta versions are available on branded phones such as Huawei, LG, Nokia and OnePlus. We expected that they deliver Android 10 earlier than most others, but not right away.

You will at least know what to expect from the software itself. Highlights include a system-level dark mode and improved gesture navigation, not to mention discussion bubbles, accessibility features such as live captions, and benefits such as focus mode and security updates in the background. Despite the name, Android 10 is not a dramatic revision, but it should offer tangible improvements.
