Just days after the release of the second beta version of Android 10, OnePlus apparently decided that its update for Android 10 for OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro was ready for prime time. A staged rollout is underway as we speak, which should develop in the next few days if there are no problems.
The changelog for the update for Android 10 is just below:
Changelog
- System
- Upgrading to Android 10
- New design of the user interface
- Improved location permissions for privacy
- New customization feature in settings allowing you to choose which icon shapes to display in quick settings
- Gestures in full screen
- Added swipes in from the left or right edge of the screen to go back
- Adding a lower navigation bar to allow toggling left or right for recent applications
- Play area
- The new Game Space feature now brings all your favorite games together in one place for easier access and a better gaming experience.
- Smart display
- Smart information based on specific times, places, and events for Ambient Display (Settings – Display – Ambient Display – Smart Display)
- Message
- It is now possible to block keyword spam for Message (Messages – Spam – Settings – Block Settings)
In addition to the many general features of Android 10 (which you can check here), the OnePlus update also includes a new Game Space application for better management of your mobile gaming experience in one place. There are other settings to customize the appearance of your phone, including locked-screen clocks, as well as a new "smart display" display system that also provides " intelligent information ", such as playing current music details or upcoming calendar events. This is not the case people are still asking for, but it is a step in that direction.
Other underlined modifications in Android 10 in general are presented here, including changes to be made to the management of notifications and app permissions and the easy sharing of Wi-Fi credentials via QR codes .
The update has not yet appeared on any of our devices here at Android Police, but according to the company's official announcement, its deployment is limited at the moment. Those who do not have it should get it in "a few days" after OnePlus has confirmed that everything is working as expected.
