Google has announced important details on the next version of Android this morning, and HMD Global confirms how it will handle the updates. Starting this year, Nokia will update almost all of its smartphones on Android 10 in just a few months.

Starting in the fourth quarter of this year, Nokia will update the Nokia 7.1, 8.1 and Nokia 9 Pureview on Android 10. From there, Nokia 6.1, 6.1 Plus and 7 Plus will be updated around the beginning of 2020. Also during the first half of the first quarter of 2020, Nokia 2.2, 3.2, 4.2 and 3.1 Plus will receive their updates, with the Nokia 1 Plus, 5.1 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco in the second half of the quarter.
