Android Pie continues its rollout on the Galaxy Note 9 today, touching two other versions of Samsung's flagship phablet.

The unlocked and Verizon versions of the Galaxy Note 9 in the US are now updated to Android 9.0 Pie. The owners of Note 9 unlocked on the official forums of Samsung and Reddit have begun to receive their update Pie, which is 1671.64 MB and is the N960U1UEU1CSB3 version.

At the same time, Verizon has confirmed the update of its note 9 to Android 9.0 Pie. The update is the software version PPR1.180610.011.N960USQU1CSB3.

Both updates include Android Pie and Samsung's new One UI. This updated user interface moves many interactive elements to the lower part of the screen to make them easier to reach, which should be particularly useful on the Note 9 and its 6.4 inch screen. A user interface is also included in a dark mode. To see Samsung's One UI in action, watch our handy video here.

These updates from Android Pie also bring new security patches, with both versions of Note 9 getting the Android security patch level of February 1, 2019.

If you have a Verizon Galaxy Note 9 unlocked in the US, go to your Settings app and check your cake share right away.

Thanks for the tip, Michael!
