Less than a month after the first, Android Q Beta 2 has landed with a decent amount of changes in tow. Among these changes, you will find a new convenient popup window to control all the different volumes without having to enter the settings application.

With Android Pie, Google has abandoned the Oreo pop-up window to the benefit of a shortcut to the actual setup application, but it looks like the developers have changed in mind. The contextual volume of Q Beta 2 avoids having to leave your current application and launch the parameters, and does it very well.

Once you have tapped the new settings icon, the pop-up window will slide up with the four volume options: Media, Call, Ring and Alarm. Once you have finished tweaking it, you are free to click "Done" to close it or press "Show more" to display the Full Volume section in the settings. Awesome.
