Among the many changes made to Android Q Beta 2, we are still finding new features added by Google to the second beta. This morning we came across other settings menu changes with new mini menus for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

The best gifts for Android users

If you turn off your Wi-Fi or Bluetooth on the second version of Android Q Beta, the settings menu will allow you to reactivate them more easily, as a reminder. Once the radio is turned off, a mini-menu containing actions appears on the main screen of the Settings application, which allows both to enable these settings and to give the user total control over these.

Using Wi-Fi as an example, when the device detects that Wi-Fi has been disabled, the Settings application displays this usable menu at the top of the app. Using this menu, users can re-enable Wi-Fi and choose the network they want to connect to. The menu will not disappear until the connection is established.

For Bluetooth, the process is a little different. As Android font points out that this menu is only triggered when a device is connected. From there, you'll have quick access to the device's connection menu, as well as a brief overview of the connection, including battery life.
