Microsoft has opened beta listings for its next Minecraft Land Augmented reality mobile game for Android users.
IOS users were able to participate in the beta last month. To play the beta, Android users will need to have a phone that supports AR on Android 7 or later.
Minecraft Land is a Pokemon Gosmart phone takes the popular Minecraft construction game. Players will be able to browse the real world to collect resources that can be used to create all kinds of structures, either alone or with friends. The camera of the iOS or Android phone will then give life to creations through augmented reality.
For now, however, the beta will only allow users to collect resources and create various creatives. In the end, Microsoft aims to add to the beta modes of adventure allowing users to create alongside friends. Each builder will be able to share his materials to encourage collaboration.
Android users interested in participating in the beta can register on the site Minecraft Earth site. Microsoft announces that the beta will be available to players next week.
