Especially in recent years, many of the new features added natively to Android have been put forward through OEMs. A good tool that has been adopted by many is the ability to take a scrolling screenshot on Android. Unfortunately, Google thinks it is "unfeasible" to integrate this into Android as OS.
The best gifts for Android users
Over the past month, Google has commented on two different requests for bug tracking features regarding the addition of scroll screen captures to Android. In both cases, as noted by Android font, the company said it would not work to add it to Android, saying it was "unfeasible," in one case they said they could not "work" on it.
If you do not know this feature, it appears on several products, including Samsung devices. After taking a screen shot, a pop-up window usually allows users to scroll down the screen to take another screenshot, the software automatically assembling the two together. It is a useful tool to share more of what is on your screen than can be seen, and therefore captured, at once.
For some reason, however, Google seems to think that it is something that it can not adopt natively in Android as an operating system. My only theory to explain why this would be the case is due to the way in which screenshots are taken in the Android "stock". Instead of displaying a prompt on the screen, Google has chosen to postpone these actions on the notification bar. To that end, it would be a bit difficult to implement a screenshot with scrolling in the Android version of Google.
It was not expected that scrolling screen copies would arrive in an imminent version of Android, such as Q, but it is a little disappointing to see that Google is fully downgraded .
