David Bowie’s ex-wife Angie has slammed the late star’s biopic, Stardust, saying the late musician ‘would never have watched it’.

“The only people who would watch her are celebrity obsessed people. Bowie was a musician. And where was the music? It was boring.
“I didn’t find it funny at all. It’s more bleak than a one-star documentary. It was too neutral and bland and without the music there is nothing.
Shortly before its release late last year, it was revealed that Bowie’s family did not approve of the drama and the executive did not have the rights to its music.

Reality TV star Angie also accused the film of “ concentrating a lot of drugs ” and has denied claims that he was treated like a slave during their relationship.
The reporter reflected on the ‘light’ time in their life admitting that she ‘didn’t want to be a queen’ and trying to pursue a successful career as an actress and director.
After their romance died out, songwriter David was in a relationship with model Iman, 65, from 1990 until his death. Meanwhile, Angie has had a relationship with longtime partner Michael Gassett since 1993.

Along with his band Johnny Flynn & The Sussex Wit, Johnny is also known for his roles in Lovesick, Genius and more recently the period drama Emma.
Although he described the early days of Bowie’s career, his son Duncan Jones insisted the family was not involved in the making of the film.
Legendary artist David died in January 2016 at the age of 69 after battling liver cancer, just two days after the release of his famous album Blackstar.
Stardust was directed by filmmaker Gabriel, who said in a statement to Variety that he strives to see the story behind one of Bowie’s most famous characters.
The writer said, “I decided to make a film about what makes a person an artist; what really pushes them to make their art.
“That someone is David Bowie, a man we used to think of as the star he became, or as one of his alter egos: Ziggy Stardust; Aladdin Zane; The slender white duke.
“Someone I’ve only seen from a distance, behind a mask; a divine and foreign presence. Even in his perfectly choreographed death, he didn’t seem like an ordinary human being.
Stardust was scheduled to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in October, but the event was canceled due to the COVID-19 outbreak. It was released a month later by IFC Films.
