The Animal Crossing: New Horizons The live livestream, promised during Nintendo Direct on September 23, will air on Friday, October 15 at 10 a.m. EDT, Nintendo announced on Wednesday.

A tweet from the official Animal Crossing Twitter account said the show would run for around 20 minutes and discuss “upcoming content. Animal crossing: New Horizons in November.”

Two weeks ago, the Nintendo Direct announced the likely return of avian barista Brewster and his cafe, The Roost. Animal Crossing New Horizons Players have become somewhat impatient with the lack of new content, as March 2021 was the last time the game received a substantial post-launch update.

Since then, new content has appeared in the form of holiday celebrations, limited-time items in Nook Shopping, and general maintenance. In July, Nintendo acknowledged the lack of content and promised more would be on the way later this year.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons was originally released on Nintendo Switch in March 2020. Nintendo has since sold over 33 million copies of the game, making New Horizons the most successful Animal Crossing game to date. Animal Crossing: New Horizons Certainly has fewer players these days than at launch, but that’s to be expected. Still, the game has been a major boon for Nintendo, which has sold nearly 30 million Nintendo Switch consoles in the past year. It even helped fuel a Nintendo Switch shortage at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
